KIBALE CHIMPANZEE FOREST

"Trip Duration: 3days two nights"

Day 1:

An early morning pick up at 5:00am from Entebbe to start the journy to the lovely Kibale Chimpanzee Forest.

We drive through Kamplala, Mpigi,Mitiyana where you will have a stop over at Lake Wamala where you will enjoy the beauty of the the Lake.

You will late on have lunch and proceed to to your destination and camp at either Crater Safari Lodge Kibale or Primate Lodge Kibale .

Day 2

A morning wake up call for an an early morning cup of tea/coffee with pastries then for our morning safari of the lovely chimpanzee forest starts around 7:30 am

We depart for a sunrise game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track. It is at this time that the Big Cats are active on their daily hunts. We will drive around the crater Lakes in search of Leopard, Lion, Hyena, Uganda Kob and other wildlife.

In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga for solitary Buffalo, Hippo and other animals at the edge of the channel as they cool off. European migrant birds like the terns and gulls congregate here in large flocks.

Day 3:

After a relaxed breakfast, the Queen Elizabeth Safari ends with a transfer to Kampala arriving in the early afternoon. The transit time is between 5-6 hours


What to see (Animal Species)

Murchison Falls National Park is managed by Ugandan Wildlife Authority. The Park is located in Western Uganda and accessible through the districts of Masindi, Hoima and Pakwach.

    Murchison Falls National Park is a perfect destination if you wish to see numerous elephants all in one view. The grasses are short and this offers a perfect view of these giants.

    Giraffe

    The park offers a perfect opportunity to enjoy seeing the spotted giraffes. Notice that the males have darker spots than the females.

    Hippos

    The Nile waters provide a perfect nitch for the Hippos which swim in groups and make interesting sounds.

    Buffalo

    The Buffalos in this park are very many and will be found grazing in large groups/ heards. They are blind but have a great sense of smell.
